Remind Me: Location Reminder is designed to help You create location-based reminders. The Application may request access to Your device location in order to provide its reminder functionality. However, We do not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share Your geolocation information. Location checks are used only on Your device to determine whether a reminder notification should be triggered.

By using the Service, You agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

Interpretation and Definitions

Interpretation

The words whose initial letters are capitalized have meanings defined under the following conditions. The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or in plural.

For the purposes of this Privacy Policy:

  • Application refers to Remind Me: Location Reminder, the software program provided by the Company.
  • Company (referred to as either "the Company", "We", "Us" or "Our" in this Privacy Policy) refers to Remind Me: Location Reminder.

  • Device means any device that can access the Service, such as a cell phone or digital tablet.

Personal Data

The Application does not require You to create an account and does not ask You to provide personally identifiable information such as Your name, email address, phone number, or address in order to use the main reminder functionality.

Location Information

While using Our Application, in order to provide location-based reminder features, the Application may request access to Your device location with Your prior permission.

Your location is used only to determine whether You have reached a selected reminder area and whether a notification should be sent.

  • We do not collect Your geolocation information.
  • We do not store Your geolocation information on Our servers.
  • We do not transmit Your geolocation information to Our servers.
  • We do not sell or share Your geolocation information with third parties.

Location processing is performed on Your device for the purpose of providing the location reminder functionality.

You can enable or disable location access at any time through Your Device settings. If location access is disabled, location-based reminders may not work correctly.

Reminder Data

The Application allows You to create reminders, including a reminder title, a selected place, and optionally a start date and time.

This information is used to provide the reminder functionality of the Application. Depending on the version of the Application, reminder data may be stored locally on Your Device. We do not use this information to identify You, track You, or sell Your data.

Notifications

The Application may request permission to send notifications. Notifications are used to alert You when a reminder condition is met, such as arriving near a selected place.

You can enable or disable notification permissions at any time through Your Device settings.

In-App Purchases

Remind Me: Location Reminder is free to use with one reminder. If You want to create and manage more reminders, You may unlock additional reminders through an in-app purchase.

In-app purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect or store Your payment card details. Apple may process payment and transaction information according to Apple's own terms and privacy policy.

Usage Data

We may collect limited Usage Data automatically when using the Service, such as technical information related to app performance, crashes, diagnostics, or general usage statistics.

Usage Data may include information such as Your Device type, operating system version, app version, crash logs, diagnostic data, and other technical information used to maintain and improve the Service.

Use of Your Personal Data

The Company may use Personal Data or Usage Data for the following purposes:

  • To provide and maintain the Service.
  • To provide location-based reminder functionality on Your Device.
  • To send reminder notifications when reminder conditions are met.
  • To manage in-app purchase access and unlocked features.
  • To monitor and improve the performance, stability, and functionality of the Application.
  • To detect, prevent, and address technical issues.
  • To comply with legal obligations where required.

We do not use Your geolocation information for advertising, analytics, tracking, profiling, selling, or sharing with third parties.

Sharing of Your Personal Data

We may share limited data in the following situations:

  • With Service Providers, only where necessary to operate, maintain, or improve the Service.

We do not share Your geolocation information because We do not collect it.

Retention of Your Personal Data

The Company will retain Personal Data only for as long as necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy.

Reminder data may be stored locally on Your Device until You delete it or uninstall the Application.

Technical diagnostic and Usage Data, if collected, may be retained for a limited period as necessary to maintain and improve the Service, troubleshoot issues, and comply with legal obligations.

Geolocation information is not retained by Us because We do not collect, store, or transmit Your geolocation information.

Transfer of Your Personal Data

Your information, if collected, may be processed at locations outside of Your state, province, country, or other governmental jurisdiction where data protection laws may differ from those in Your jurisdiction.

The Company will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that Your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Delete Your Personal Data

You have the right to delete or request that We assist in deleting Personal Data that We may have collected about You.

You can delete reminders directly in the Application where available. You may also remove locally stored app data by deleting the Application from Your Device.

You can disable location and notification permissions at any time through Your Device settings.

Because We do not collect or store Your geolocation information, there is no geolocation information stored by Us to delete.

Disclosure of Your Personal Data

Business Transactions

If the Company is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, Your Personal Data may be transferred. We will provide notice before Your Personal Data is transferred and becomes subject to a different Privacy Policy.

Law Enforcement

Under certain circumstances, the Company may be required to disclose Your Personal Data if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.

Other Legal Requirements

The Company may disclose Your Personal Data in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to:
